It’s been nearly 30 years since Jeri Kryza said “If I build it they will come.” Although those words are best remembered for the classic baseball movie ‘Field of Dreams’, being in the shadow of baseball’s spring training Mecca made them appropriate words for Jeri’s new venture. And so it goes that Higley Hot Dog Hut was built with that feisty, but lovable Jeri at the helm. With her great Chicago connection and memorabilia all over the place, in addition to those great Vienna Beef hot dogs, people did come and have been lining up ever since.
