Sunnys Breakfast & Lunch - Chandler
We have been wanting to try Sunny's since we moved here, and we did today; it will be our last. As we were seated in a booth, I had to wipe off my seat off, for it was covered with the previous customers crumbs. Not a good look or hygienic. Our waitress seemed a bit off and didn't really bother us, which is good to a point. My husband and I came in today to have breakfast; the portions are good; taste is okay just a bit bland. The turkey sausage were hard, like they have been boiled and then cooked on the flat top to give that toasted look. :-/ As we were eating, I noticed ALL the waitresses standing around at the bar area on their phones (it was not busy, but you find something to do instead of standing around) while one was filling up the sugars and jellies on the tables. There is one girl playing with her hair, twisting it and pulling loose hair out then throw it on the floor (girl in white shirt & dark hair) in front of the glasses and drink station. Only one girl/lady had her hair pulled up into a bun, she had green earrings on (perfect), the others did not. Not a good look at a restaurant. Pros: Huge portions, so go hungry. Not busy in the early morning.
Cons: Waitresses playing with their hair, standing around doing nothing, and crumbs on the seat from previous customer.
